Our Services

For many SMEs having a fully functional HR department is a cost they cannot afford, or they have limited expertise in-house and need to seek support from external sources for a specific project or the availability of ongoing general support on an ad-hoc or contract basis.

We can provide the following services adapted to suit your requirements and budget.

1

Contracts of employment

An Employment Contract ensures that you are compliant and protected and should a dispute arise the starting point for interpreting the terms and conditions that will determine the outcome of the dispute will usually be the contract of employment.  Having clear, well-drafted contracts is essential for any company as they help you manage your staff effectively and protect your interests if any issues arise.

2

Policies

While the contract of employment will provide the outline of the terms and conditions, the policies and procedures provide the details of the management of the employment relationship.

It is worth noting that some of the policies and procedures are a legal requirement while others may not have a contractual standing.

4

Sensitive Investigations

There are many times when an awkward situation arises involving key or senior staff and the use of an external consultant to carry out complex and sensitive investigations can avoid any claim of bias within the organisation.

3

General and Project Support

HR departments often face a lot of pressure due to limited staff and resources. One way to ease this pressure is by seeking external support. This can come in the form of professional advice or additional staff to help with the workload. By doing so, HR departments can focus on their core responsibilities and ensure that they are providing the best possible service to their workforce

5

Settling a Tribunal Claim

No organisation looks forward to having to defend an Employment Tribunal, but with the growing propensity for aggrieved employees to go to litigation, it is helpful to have support from someone who has experience in resolving the issue either through mediation, a settlement agreement, or the preparation of a sound defense.

You have to know when to seek a settlement agreement with the claimant or to defend at a tribunal With day 1 protection due to be introduced by the Labour government this will become a greater risk for employers.
